Just set up the best looking hardwood flooring booth in the Red River Valley Home Show. Can't wait to chat it up with visitors!!!

February 19

Cooper = annoyed or grateful for being snuggled in Josiah's blanket?

February 18

Katie taught him to crack eggs, and now Dad's taught him to flip pancakes. Someday he is going to make some lucky lade breakfast in bed. Hopefully his mama...

February 16

So I should have been prepping taxes and working on report cards, but these two fabric bins were just way more fun. :)

February 15

Selfie @ Scheels with "Boppa Steve" (aka: the Abe Lincoln statue to the rest of you)

February 14

We got to go OUTSIDE! Seriously, what a frigid winter...

February 8

My lunch date at Noodles & Co! Followed of course by tennis, fort building, watching the Olympics, sewing...

Bonus pic: The back for the quilt top I pieced together last weekend. Can't wait to get them quilted together and bound!!!

Remember those fish squirters, rubber duckies, and the fishing set we all got for tub toys when our boys were itty bitty? Well, they are now perfect for "deep sea diving" in the tub with goggles. Oh, and those Tupperware cups come in pretty handy for enjoying a cup of hot cocoa in the tub too.

Hang on, Mom, let me measure the panini first. It's 5 inches. Ok, you can cook it now.

Josiah convinced me to buy a package of doughnuts today and guess who is eating the first one?

February 3

Love how the sun streams through the window and illuminates each triangle. So warm and comfortable.

February 2

After a long and stressful week at work I needed a little retail therapy and a project just for ME. That gorgeous stack of gray fabric from Modern Textiles became a quilt today.just.for.me. Soon it will be backed with buttery soft minky.

True confession --- Yes, that stressful week at work caused a lapse in daily photography. Yes, I've decided that if I miss a day or use a photo from a different day as a filler it's ok. In the future, it will still be ok if I miss or do a throwback day to reminisce on a picture I've found as I'm working on photo editing and creating Blurb books. Big picture, people! :)

February 1

Haven't had a candle lit dinner at home in about 6 years. Love having sleepover swap weekends with our fabulous neighbors so that we can each date our spouses worry-free! Pretty sure Josiah and Ryland didn't complain about two sleepovers, Monster Jam, and a Fargo Force game all in 36 hours...just being worn out on Sunday afternoon.

January 31

A co-worker gave us tickets to Monster Jam. These two loved it!!!

January 30

My boys' favorite things: suckers, stuff animals all over, and watching golf. My favorite things: these two.

January 27

Who needs the catapult when you have a Nerf gun? (Oh, and yes we wear jammies in our house a lot in the winter.)

January 26

Jim teaching these two cuties to play Old Maid. What a guy!

January 25

Had our current and former neighbors over for dinner, and after the boys' friend Finn joined us for part of the evening as well. Full house!!! After cramming 10 people in our teeny, tiny dining room, these 3 needed a little quiet downtime. It's amazing what a cartoon can do for the entire state of our home. Yikes! Someday we need a bigger living area for entertaining, or at least a bigger table.

January 24

Silly? Nope...just avoiding the camera. :)
